The France - Israel Industrial R&D Cooperation Framework (FIRAD) promotes R&D collaboration between French and Israeli companies interested in jointly developing and commercializing new, innovative products, applications or services.

FIRAD supports joint industrial R&D projects between Israeli and French companies in all technological fields.
Program Administration
The program maintainsoffices in both France and Israel; French and Israeli entities should contact their respective offices at any time (See contact details of program managers below).
The program is implemented in close collaboration with the Eureka program for European cooperation in R&D and Innovation in which both France and Israel are active members.
FIRAD issues two Calls for proposals per year. The calls may cover all technological sectors or maybe limited to a certain technological sector. Each call is open for 3 to 4 months for submission of application forms.

An initial assessment of a joint project will be performed upon submission of the Cooperation Form. MATIMOP and OSEO can provide assistance in preparation of the Cooperation Form.

The bilateral French-Israeli program is using the Eureka Form as the project outline application form allowing the submitters the opportunity to apply for the Eureka label, that provides European visibility and access to the Eureka promotional instruments. To download a Eureka project application form click here . - Forms must be filled in English, signed by both project partners and sent to the program directors.
- The eligibility of each application will be analyzed by OSEO and MATIMOP.
- Results will be notified to the companies within 10 days.
Partners with approved eligibility will be invited to submit national funding applications using the procedures and according to the national rules that apply in OSEO and OCS respectively within one month. · National Funding Application Forms (for Israeli Companies) The full project application is submitted by the companies on their respective countries’ national forms for review by the respective national authorities. Israeli companies should submit their applications on OCS application forms. Detailed information on funding application procedure is available at the OCS website.
