SDE WAVE ENERGY LTD. is a world leader in the planning, building and marketing of power stations, producing power from sea waves. Global warming and pollution due to burning of fuels have made sea waves the largest source for energy production today. The company has designed a proprietary technology for production of electricity through "harvesting" sea wave motion, even in the hardest weather conditions. Rising oil costs and the worldwide shortage of electricity make this system very attractive.
S.D.E.''s method consists of using sea waves motion to generate hydraulic pressure, which is then transformed into electricity. The system takes advantage of the approaching wave, its speed, its high and low points and the flow beneath, this producing energy more efficiently and cheaper than both other sea-wave, and conventional technologies, with their chimneys, filters, furnaces, coolers, coal storage space, ash removal facilities, and the vast terrain. The system produces a net of 40kWh for every meter of beachfront "harvested". Manufacturing cost for a system, which produces 4MW is around US$ 2.0M. The electricity produces has at lowest cost in the market. An important note: the larger the system - the lower the costs. Among other advantages of our system are: protecting the coastline from the distraction of the sea, operating as wave breakers, etc. The system can supply 500 times more electricity than the needs of all of Earth''s population.
SDE WAVE ENERGY LTD. has an American patent, with patents pending worldwide. The project is approved and partially financed by the Chief Scientist of Israel and the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade.
