The company has developed, and is currently producing, an innovative solution, that combines both the Home Network and the Access ("The Last Mile Solution") of Powerline communications into one system, compatible with the latest PLC standards.
The vast technical background of its co-founders in Powerline and Telecommunication services has enabled MAIN.NET to develop a unique technology that can easily be integrated into any communications backbone (SDH/ATM/IP). The solution enables the end user to receive a cost-effective solution for add-on telecommunication services over the power utility''s existing infrastructure.
MAIN.NET has therefore developed the Plus product line (Power Line Ultimate System). Plus enables power utilities to offer their customers a variety of high-speed telecommunication services over their existing power lines.
Plus, Power Line Ultimate System, is an open flexible system that is designed to provide a wide range of services over power line grids. The main applications of Plus are Internet, Telephony and AMR (automatic meter reading). Further applications, such as home automation, may also be implemented over the same infrastructure.
In addition to developing the technology, MAIN.NET is continuously creating new applications for advanced services to be provided using the Plus telecommunications platform.
