Overview :
NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS ISRAEL (formerly SEABRIDGE, Radnet), a fully owned Siemens company, is a global leader in the optimization of broadband networks, providing carrier-class network optimization solutions for current and next-generation technologies. Seabridge solutions enable carriers to provide new broadband services using existing infrastructures, ensuring maximum return on network investments. Via Siemens, Seabridge benefits from a worldwide marketing presence while retaining the spirit and innovation of a pioneering company.
SEABRIDGE develops and markets the Siemens SURPASS hiD family of multi-service packet switches, providing optimization for multiple broadband technologies at the network access, edge or core.
The SURPASS hiD multi-service packet switches address the need to save investment by optimally utilizing the existing carrier infrastructure through service aggregation, while enabling seamless interworking of existing and Next Generation Ethernet/MPLS networks. At the same time the SURPASS hiD facilitates the introduction of new revenue generating services, such as entertainment over DSL, layer 2 VPNs and Ethernet services.
The SURPASS hiD family delivers a true multi-service offering integrating ATM, Ethernet, IP, MPLS, TDM and Frame relay in one resilient, fully redundant platform.
SURPASS hiD intelligently grooms and consolidates traffic from digital subscriber line access multiplexers (DSLAMs), 2G/3G mobile base stations, and wireless local loop collection points. SURPASS hiD also provides an ideal platform for digital TV and video broadcasting.
The SURPASS hiD platform has been deployed by major carriers and service providers throughout the world, and is currently being used to operate the largest access network in Europe for the provision of xDSL services.
