UniqKleen Technologies Ltd., a high-technology start-up company, was founded in Jan. 2002 within the framework of the Yozmot HaEmek Technological Incubator in Migdal HaEmek, Israel. At present UniqKleen has completed the incubator period and acts as an independent company.
Company mission is to be the industry leader in the application of magnetic and other innovative technologies to industrial wastewater treatment projects. The resulting solution will be a unified treatment solution of complex industrial wastewater.
The principal innovation of the product - it provides both magnetic and hydrophobic sediment. In one process an all-inclusive removal of toxic organic substances such as oil products, detergents, phenols, dye stuffs, heavy metals, etc. is achieved and highly polluted wastewater is converted into environmentally safe for disposal water, in keeping with EPA and other regulations.
A static mixer is used to add magnetic particles 1 to 10 microns to the wastewater. Then basic coagulants, oxidizers, acidic coagulants and cation flocculants create a hydrophobic emulsion. When the resulting mixture passes through a potent electro magnet, the pollutants are separated from the water to create a magnetic sludge that is removed.
Company has produced a laboratory demo unit to prove feasibility. Demo pilots tested at various pollutant industrial sites proved excellent results.
