Further, it facilitates bypassing the need for bone augmentation and sinus lifting, and enables immediate implantations following tooth extraction. IIS also offers very short implants (e.g., 5.5 x 3.75mm) to be used in conjunction with the ImplantLock device in cases where the bone ridge is less than 8.0mm in height.
