Overview :
The Jerusalem College of Technology - Machon Lev, located in Jerusalem''s Givat Mordechai neighborhood, is a fully accredited college of engineering, as recognized by Israel''s Council of Higher Education. The College provides a university level education through its high tech program leading to a Bachelor''s degree, concurrent with an intensive program in Judaic studies. Preparing for the future through this synthesis of Technology and Judaic studies has earned the College a unique position among engineering schools worldwide.
JCT concentrates its technology curriculum on the most advanced majors utilized in Israel''s high-tech industries, i.e. Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Electro-Optics, Applied Mathematics, Managerial Accounting, Marketing for the High Tech Industry, and Industrial Management.
Research and Development, a critical component of JCT involving the scientists/faculty and students, has resulted in major advances in many fields, i.e.: medical technology and driving safety. The highly successful industrial initiative center, Patir, where the faculty works both independently and with students on innovative technological ideas, provides the opportunity for aspiring scientists to bring their high-tech projects to fruition. The Ministry of Industry and Trade through the office of the Chief Scientist has recognized JCT''s industrial incubator as the best in Israel, particularly for commercializing its projects.
