Description of Event

The Global Innovation and Technology Alliance Platform 2013 , scheduled for 12-13 November 2013 in New Delhi, India is the largest forum for forging business alliances in science, technology & innovation in India. The forum will bring together global technology providers, investors, Indian industry, entrepreneurs & innovators, scientists, academics, senior government representatives etc., to discuss and deliberate over business issues and also to explore opportunities for collaboration. Spanning over one and a half days, the event will commence with an exhibition display of some of the most innovative technologies from India, Israel & across the globe, and will be followed by industry-focused sessions, conference discussions, B2B meetings and other mediums to facilitate alliances. Business Delegations from around the world will be attending the event, including delegations from Canada, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK and more.

Israeli companies are invited to participate in the MATIMOP-led Israeli Business Delegation to the GITA Platform 2013. Delegation members will receive:


-           Free access to the GITA Platform Conference Sessions, events, and B2B networking area from Nov. 12-13, 2013
-          Free design and production of company poster to be displayed in the Israeli Exhibition Booth

-           Inclusion in the Israeli Company Catalog

-           Prescheduled B2B meetings at the Conference

-           Participation in site/industry visits and other complimentary events

-           Logistics support throughout the entire visit

Israeli companies from the following industry fields are invited to participate:


-           Biotech, Pharma & Healthcare

-           Renewable Energy

-           Water Management

-           Defense & Homeland Security

-           ICT



Israeli Company Delegates will be responsible for:


-           Expenses of plane tickets and hotels 

-           Providing company profile and partner requests for B2B scheduling (or other material requested to aid in prescheduling b2b meetings)




Participation in the delegation is free of charge . The only expenses for companies are
(1) cost of flight to New Delhi; and
(2) costs of hotel in New Delhi (about $130 per night).

All other expenses will be covered by MATIMOP (including entrance fees, exhibition and poster displays, local transportation, most meals, including high-level networking dinners).

About the Organizers

The Global Innovation and Technology Alliance (GITA) , is a not-for-profit (Section 25) Public Private Partnership (PPP) Company promoted jointly by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Technology Development Board (TDB) of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. GITA is a unique institution for providing demand-driven technology solutions through frontline global alliances for Indian Companies. It is an innovative mechanism between Government of Indian and Indian Industry for attracting Industry's investment in technology. GITA is the implementation body in India for the India-Israel Initiative for Industrial R&D (i4RD), a bilateral framework providing financial support and partner matching assistance for collaborative industrial R&D ventures between Israeli and Indian companies. In Israel, the program is implemented by MATIMOP, the Israeli Industry Center for R&D.

MATIMOP, the Israeli Industry Center for R&D
, is the executive agency of the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) of the Israeli Ministry of Economy. Through its more than 30 bilateral cooperation programs and agreements, MATIMOP promotes industrial R&D cooperation between Israeli and foreign companies through partner-matching and access to funding. MATIMOP is charged with promoting highly supportive policies to build Israel's industrial infrastructure, and nurturing industrial innovation and entrepreneurship.
