This offer is directed to companies that develop technologies and products in the following fields:

Agriculture

·         Traits and enabling technologies to analyze, promote and protect yield in maize, soybeans, canola, sunflower, wheat and rice

·         Computational technologies for bioinformatics and for big data analytics

·         Biologicals (live microbes/fungi) and synthetic active ingredients that can be applied as foliar treatments to enhance plant health

·         Microbes, natural products or synthetic active ingredients that can be applied as seed treatments for insecticidal, fungicidal or nematicidal control or to enhance plant health

·         Expertise in formulation for encapsulation and stabilization, and application technologies for live microbes and synthetic active ingredients for seed treatments

Nutrition

·         Food ingredients such as hydrocolloids and emulsifiers with new functionality, texture, naturalness.

·         Anti-microbial active ingredients for food safety and shelf life

·         New ways for encapsulation and coating of food ingredients

·          Health and wellness ingredients including proteins, probiotics, prebiotics, fibres and extracts

Industrial Biotech

·         Enzymes or enzyme systems for cellulosic and hemicellulosic biomass conversion.

·         Highly intrinsically thermostable enzymes (Tm>90°C) with applications in feed: phytases, xylanases, proteases, others.

·         New bioactives for animal nutritional applications in poultry and swine: feed efficiency, growth, muscle deposition, carcass yield, gut health, appetite.

·          New feed additive technologies with potential for ruminants (feed efficiency, growth, feed cost, milk yield, acidosis) and warm water fish or shrimp (feed cost, fish meal replacement, water quality, livability).

·          Low cost granulation of enzymes with increased thermostability.

·          Salmonella and Campylobacter control pre-harvest in poultry

Advanced materials

·         Materials to increase the energy density inside a battery, such as a lithium ion battery, while increasing the safety performance of the overall battery

·         Post processing of thermoplastic resins to achieve thermoset end use properties, e.g solid phase polymerization or crosslinking .

·         Efficient solid phase polymerization of very sticky polymer

·         Adding value to lignin
