The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Israel are announcing a new Call for Proposals for joint R&D projects in the field of Clean Technologies, highlighting specifically water related technologies and solutions.

The Call is jointly administered by MATIMOP – The Israeli Industry Center for R&D, on behalf of the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) of the Ministry of Economy in Israel, and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (M CEC ) on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the framework of the Massachusetts-Israel Innovation Partnership Program.

 Program Overview:

  • Joint MA-Israeli R&D projects can be presented in the field of clean technologies, highlighting specifically water related technologies and solutions.
  • Applicants are expected to develop ready-to-market solutions for products, technology-based services or methods which have strong market potential for Massachusetts and Israel 
  •  MCEC and MATIMOP can help companies identify potential partners. In addition, we expect companies will be seeking their own partners independently.


Eligible US (MA) Applicants  include: Massachusetts for-profit corporation, limited liability company, sole proprietorship or partnership domiciled in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Additional MCEC applicable rules and procedures apply.

Eligible Israeli Applicants   will be R&D performing Israeli registered companies operating in Israel


Funding support will be given to each partner by its own Implementing Organization (MCEC in Massachusetts and MATIMOP in Israel) in accordance with the national laws, rules, regulations and procedures in effect.
