CLICKS: Application Generator for Medical Information Systems for
Full Network Support
CLICKS own, proprietary design system consists of a dedicated
application generator, specially created for the design of
medical information systems. This is a fourth generation
application generator, which includes all the elements required
for the development of such systems by trained programmers. The
nature of CLICKS design tools is such that modifications to the
structure of the application do not disrupt the inTEGRITY of
existing data.
Thousands of CLICKS are installed in clinics and hospitals with
applications in family medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry,
obstetrics and gynecology, urology, cardiology, ophthalmology and
other medical disciplines.
CLICKS enables the full emulation of any type of medical record,
complete with data sheets (visits and consultations, X-rays,
referrals, etc.), labs, clinical and administrative reports,
including frequency analysis and statistical tests. Updated
graphs of medical and lab data can be obtained on-line. All
system components can be modified without disrupting existing
data.
Most of the phrases used by physicians and nurses to enter data
in medical records can be stored in tables, and is displayed
automatically for the relevant fields. Hardly any typing is
required to retrieve table values, ensuring fast data entry,
accuracy and standardized information throughout the system. User
defined forms, help files, data collection algorithms and other
utilities are built in.
Data protection is possible starting from a single field through
the entire system. In and Out ASCII interface is provided at all
levels.
