The incubator's activities are financed by the Office of the
Chief Scientist, Ministry of Industry and Trade and by Private
Investors.
ATI was designed to guide and assist the growth of emerging
high-tech start-up firms in the development of exportable
products.
ATI offers the inventor or entrepreneur:
* Multi-disciplinary technological guidance,
* Business development and exposure,
* Assistance in the recruitment of personnel (including on-site
computer database of highly qualified candidates),
* On-line connection to international information systems.
PREFERRED FIELDS OF ACTIVITY
1. Electronics, Computers, Electro-Optics devices and Multimedia
Communication.
2. High Precision Measuring Instruments and Materials.
3. Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacology.
4. Environmental Technologies.
5. Medical Equipment.
Projects from other fields are not ruled out. Each candidate is
reviewed for its suitability to the incubator's basic "business
criteria".
COOPERATION REQUIRED
* Investment Capital for the needs of the start-up project
companies.
* Joint ventures with companies involved in the same fields as
the incubator's projects.
