Technological Incubator, since the 1st April 2003, within the
privatized Technological Incubators Program of the Office of the
Chief Scientist (OCS), Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Before the 1st April 2003, LAB-ONE was known as the " NITZANIM"
incubator.
LAB-ONE is a privatized technological incubator, which is
operated and financed by StageOne Ventures, one of Israel's most
active seed-stage funds, specializing in Information
Communications Technology.
FINANCIAL STRUCTURE
LAB-ONE initially invests approximately US $0.5 million in the
project company. StageOne, a leading ICT (Information
Communications Technology) fund, sponsors lab-One. StageOne
involvement in Lab-One's companies from the start is done with
the aim of identifying the best companies and continuing to
support them in follow-on investment rounds.
AREAS OF INTEREST
LAB-ONE invests in new initiatives within the Communication &
Information arenas that are based on innovative ideas and which
cater to real worldwide needs. Among LAB-ONE's fields of interest
are: IP related technologies, OSS/NMS, Mobile-Datacom, Multimedia
& Home Networking, Network Security, Next Generation optical
networking, System-on-chip, Storage & Next Generation server
arrays, etc.
