ROMIDOT LTD. is dedicated in particular to the development of
specific inspection solutions for the Light Metal and Plastics
Industries. The company is constantly improving existing products
and develops new technologies, many of which are patented.
ROMIDOT's Application Engineers work together with its large
customer base to understand the specific needs of every industry.
ROMIDOT has over 80 successful installations in Aluminum
Extrusion, PVC and other industries, mostly in Europe and North
America.
The RomiShape systems are largely based on Image Acquisition
through Line-CCD scanning and computerized tomography (C.T),
processing of the image data to obtain inspection information of
specific geometric dimensions. The C.T technology is innovative
and patented and enables resolution and accuracy of microns.
Inspection is performed by pre-defined measurement routines
(programs) which are based on the original CAD design. The
RomiShape systems provide the unique feature of image and data
distribution over computer networks. This innovation provides the
ability of multiple locations of measurement in the plant and
real-time distribution of relevant QA information. Additional
software packages available from Romidot provide Data Analysis
for Statistic Process Control (SPC) and Process Optimization.
