Status: Partial licensing agreement has been granted to an
Israeli company. The kit is now marketed in Israel and worldwide.
R&D: Batec is involved with DiaSep in development of a new
platform of fluid transfer technology which results in a
comprehensive set of systems and tools for High Throughput sample
preparation System (HTS) which simplifies many of the protocols
involved in sample preparation in the genomic and proteomic
arena. The new system is a combination of specially designed
devices and computerized controlled instrument.
Systems in advanced stage of development
* HTS for Extraction of Nucleic acid, proteins from samples
* HTS removal of impurities from sample
* HTS centrifugal precipitation and automatic removal of
supernatant
* Microfluid (Lab on Chip) for sample preparation and diagnostic
applications, the fluid flow is controlled by non mechanical
means (No mini pumps, or valves). Statues; Working models,
