established by the Mifalei HaEmek Agricultural Cooperative, and
the Jezre'el Valley and Megido Regional Councils to provide the
framework for both new immigrant and veteran Israeli
scientist-entrepreneurs to transform their knowledge and
experience into marketabe products and high-tech companies. This
creates a pool of commercial opportunities and new jobs, bringing
prosperity to the region.
The incubator's principal task is to provide the support,
guidance and environment essential for both new immigrant and
veteran Israeli scientist-entrepreneurs to develop innovative
ideas and to transform them into marketable products and
commercially successful enterprises. Each project receives an
annual budget from the Office of the Chief Scientist of the
Ministry of Industry and Trade. The projects also benefit from a
program in which University of Michigan Business School MBA
students travel to the incubator to accumulate information in
order to write business plans/market entry strategies for the
projects.
Thirty-three such business plans and market entry strategies have
been written in the last eight years.
The incubator provides the project initiators with working space,
administrative, logistic, legal and secretarial support, as well
as with business management and financial consultants.
YOZMOT HAEMEK's experienced management team provides the support,
guidance, financial management, marketing counseling and
infrastructure required by the project entrepreneurs to develop
their innovative ideas into marketable products.
Assistance in locating investment and strategic partners is an
important aspect of the work of the incubator manager.
