Overview

Since it was founded in 1974, IMCO focuses on being a quality
developer, designer, contract manufacturer, and subcontractor,
providing a wide range of services.

IMCO is known as a reputable supplier of high quality items in a
timely manner and a leader in the fields of military mechanical,
electromechanical and electronic development and manufacturing.
The manufacturing processes and technologies include machining,
forming, welding, brazing, painting, soldering, harnessing and
assembly of electromechanical and electronic equipment.

IMCO is the source for a full range of control and electrical
systems for combat and armored vehicles. The company has
manufactured hundreds of driver control panels and circuit cards
assemblies for the U.S. M-1A1 tank and complete electrical
systems for the Israeli-designed MERKAVA main battle tank and
other tanks. Other ground products include tank commander and
gunner turret control and firing sticks, tank smoke grenade
launching system, smoke generator kits, etc. The latter have been
chosen to equip the U.S. Army, M113 tracked vehicles. IMCO also
specializes in electrical and electronic cabling and harness
systems.
The company has extensive experience in the highest EMI/RFI
protection requirements in cabling, connectors and harness
systems shielding.

IMCO leads in aircraft control such as pilot sticks, pitot tubes,
thermocouples and test equipment for airborne fuel systems and
fuel drop-tank universal testing apparatus, bundles, harnesses,
etc.
Experience in the above was gained by many years of successful
supply and maintenance for the Israeli Air Force. IMCO is the
only qualified Israeli manufacturer for the above pitot tubes &
thermocouples, for the Israeli Air Force.

One of the company's major products is the MX-MII IFF
(Identification Friend or Foe) Transport Control. The IFF system
proved indispensable during 1991 Gulf War. IMCO has completed a
contract for about 1000 of the IFF units for the U.S. Air Force,
and additional several hundreds were sold to U.S. electronic
companies.
