Kopel-Reem has developed a number of infrastructure tools and
products to meet commonly encountered needs.
Some of the products are tools for developers, as is the Magic
Export Analyzer, and some of the products are infrastructure
tools for end clients, as are Kopelog and DBAlert.
All of the tools are developed in Magic and combine a high level
of Magic programming and advanced database capabilities.
* Magic Export Analyzer was developed in Magic version 9, on
Oracle Database. The Export Analyzer allows easy analysis of
Magic Export Data via standard reports provided in the system,
and also enables the user to create custom reports using simple
tree interface.
The system simplifies conversion from version 8 to version 9, by
marking parameter fields as parameters.
* DBAlert - Automatic Event System, is a tool that allows you to
automatically trigger events in response to changes to your data,
without modifying your existing application. The system is
designed to work on all your databases without interfering with
any existing legacy applications.
DBAlert stores a snapshot of your database and identifies changes
to this snapshot.
* The Kopelog System was developed in order to provide a
solution for a problem that comes up repeatedly in many
applications: how to record changes made to a database, including
time and previous value, without making major amendments to the
existing application, and without investing in developing a new
application?
The solution offered by Kopel Re'em does not require changes to
the existing application.
The Kopelog System works directly on the database. Via a system
of triggers and queries, Kopelog records any data that has been
altered, added or deleted, and records previous values, time of
modification, and name of the user who performed the
modification. With a minor addition to the application, the name
of the modification routine can also be recorded.
The system includes simple queries that analyze the log file and
present any modifications that were recorded.
