In 1993 the OEM production activities were transferred to the
newly established subsidiary TELIRAN (1993) Ltd.
TELIRAN (1993) supplies local high-tech communications companies
and foremost industrial enterprises in the high-tech electronics
field.
The company is specializing in OEM production and electronic
components assembly for a wide variety of commercial and military
applications, notably the telecommunications market. Turnkey
projects are an integral part of TELIRAN (1993) operations.
In 1994 Altro Viena GmbH (a privately owned international
company) joined the company, providing 20 years of marketing
experience and connections.
In 1996 the company established a new subsidiary GlobeWave Inc.,
and initiated its activity in the wireless telecom- munications
market by introducing the Com.plete PC Card wireless Cellular
MODEM for portable computers and the emPOWER a portable palm-top
computerized wireless data communication unit.
