MAVIX products are building blocks for the implementation of
surveillance systems capable of viewing, hearing and sensing
situations and events in the area of interest, and react
accordingly by issuing the appropriate operating commands.
MAVIX innovative products are targeted primarily to the Security
& Monitoring markets, implementations including Building
Automation, Access and Industrial Control, Home Surveillance,
Transportation and Un-manned Remote Station Surveillance; but are
also applicable to the Tele-Medicine, Distance Learning and
Training, IP Multicasting, Corporate Broadcasting and Content
Distribution markets.
Such implementations must be able also to deliver transparently
the sensed information through diverse infrastructures, making
the information available to all the factors related to such
events (management, police, fire stations, health care, etc). For
this purpose not just a good platform is required, but also (and
mainly) the right architectural approach and a comprehensive
management application are essential.
MAVIX has developed the unique "Virtual Matrix" architectural
design, which enables a practically unlimited number of
video/audio and data sources to be dynamically distributed over
IP networks to an unlimited number of targets, while featuring
full motion, full screen, high quality video.
