Overview

MYCONTROL an agro-biotech company, has developed advanced
biological preparations for the control of plant diseases and
pests. This company was established by Dr. Ofer Kliefeld and
Prof. Ilan Chet of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Both
scientists have been heavily involved in the research and
development of biological preparations suitable for IPM
(Integrated Pest Management) and Organic farming.

MYCONTROL's activity and strategy have a perfect fit with the
current international trend calling for the reduction of the use
of agrochemicals. Worldwide legislation and regulation support
this trend, which has forced the growers to search for effective
alternative solutions.

MYCONTROL's commercial product - the ROOT-PRO - consists of the
filamentous fungi of the Trichoderma spp. It is active against
various soil borne diseases and controls mainly Rhizoctonia,
Fusarium, Pythium and Sclerotium.

ROOT-PRO - 107 spores/gram Trichoderma harzianum, dustable powder
(DP)
A fungal preparation for the control of soil-borne diseases in
nurseries and in the field.
Root-Pro contains 107 spores/gram of 2 natural strains of the
beneficial fungus Trichoderma harzianum.
Root-Pro is applied in the nursery stage, by mixing it into the
growing media, and benefits the root system throughout the whole
growing season.
Helps to suppress various soil-borne diseases such as: Pythium
spp., Sclerotium rolfsi, Fusarium spp., Rhizoctonia solani.
Harmless to people, animals and crop, approved for organic
agriculture.
