proprietary insect trap, which is the first of RonPal's line of
products. This trap provides an answer to the need of a highly
effective, environmentally friendly method to control insects in
general and the fruit fly in particular. This trap has been
proved by a large number of field trials to be a highly
effective, realistic alternative to conventional methods, and at
competitive prices.
The device developed by the company, the FRUTECT(TM) embodies a
unique combination of visual and chemical bait to lure the fruit
fly and exterminate them without the use of chemicals. The
FRUTECT(TM) device is "green" in that it does not release any
pesticides or other harmful substances into the environment.
The FRUTECT(TM) device is today recommended by the Israel
Bioorganic Agricultural Association as the means of choice to
control the fruit fly in organic orchards. Following the
enthusiastic reception of this product by the organic growers, as
well as by researchers and agronomists, both in Israel and
throughout the world, it is believed that the FRUTECT(TM) device
is the best of its kind on the world market and has the potential
of replacing all other fruit fly control methods in orchards
worldwide, thus targeting a multi-million dollar market.
