** Information and Communications:
Siemens Israel Information and Communications Division is the
local arm of the I & C group of Siemens AG, which is one of the
world's leaders in it's field. I & C creates innovative products,
networks and services that provide seamless end-to-end solutions
for fixed line and mobile businesses. Information and
Communications Mobile spans the entire mobility business, namely
network infrastructure, mobile phones and applications. Siemens
focuses this year on state of the art GSM/GPRS/UMTS - 3G cellular
networks, applications and wireless transmission (microwave).

The most prominent activity in the division's portfolio is that
of the power generation, where Siemens became the leading
supplier for advanced gas turbines. Furthermore Siemens is a
dominant player in the field of Industrial turbines, high &
medium voltage switchgears, power automation, industrial
applications (such as cranes, paper, water, etc).
The division's production facility (Mitug) located in Kanot
industrial zone is manufacturing low and medium voltage
switchgears and switchboards which are installed all over the
country.
** Medical Solutions
The Medical area offers a broad spectrum of products, solutions
and services for integrated health care. Its offerings range from
innovative technologies for accurate diagnosis and therapy to
advanced image processing, communication and archiving systems.
The aim is to minimize patient discomfort, optimize processes and
increase efficiency in hospitals and doctors' offices.
The medical division is offering new products as well as service
to it's large installed base in hospitals and medical centers all
over the country.
