distances. The underlying technology is called Conoscopic
Holography.
In conoscopic holography the separate coherent object and
reference beams of conventional holography are replaced by the
ordinary and extraordinary components of a single beam traversing
a uniaxial crystal. With this method it is possible to produce
holograms using incoherent light, and with a fringe period
compatible with the resolution of conventional electronic imaging
devices.
Since both beams propagate through the same path, conoscopic
holography is very stable.
Conoscopic measurement systems have no moving parts and are less
expensive and more reliable than dynamic focusing systems.
The line of probes will be sold through System Integrators or by
alliance with industrial leaders in the various related fields.
The technology is protected by 7 different patents. A business
plan exists and is currently revised every quarter.
