Overview

ELLARA LTD. (formerly AMT Advanced Metal Technologies) develops,
markets and licenses technologies, through its group of
companies, for amorphous and nano-crystalline advanced material.
ELLARA is focused currently on two major areas: advanced heating
products and advanced coding for authentication and
anti-shoplifting.

The Ellara's unique, worldwide patented amorphous metal
technology enables a superior solution for Under Floor Heating
(UFH) and for Temperature Sensing. The homogeneous, non-boundary
structure of amorphous metal alloys provides exceptional
mechanical, anti-corrosion and wear-resisting properties - making
these alloys superior to the more common crystalline metals.
The amorphous ribbons enjoy higher electrical resistance than
conventional crystalline solids and the flat form of the ribbon
assures a low mass-to-surface-area-ratio, rendering the Ellara's
amorphous metal alloy ribbon the finest solution for Heating.
Ellara's patented thin amorphous metal alloy ribbon heating
element has proven to be significantly more effective in
operation and cost than conventional water under floor heating or
conventional electrical wire cable heating systems.
The ultra- thinness of the Ellara's heating elements prevents the
metal from absorbing the heat, thereby enabling the heat to be
quickly transferred to the floor area. The ribbon's temperature
remains relatively low at approx 32øC (86ø F), a crucial
attribute for installations under wood, laminate and carpeted
floors, which can easily be damaged by high temperatures.
The Ellara's Under Floor Heating System is more economical to
operate than electric cable or water based systems as it works on
a short duty cycle: quick set-up times which generates highly
efficient heat distribution and slow cooling when switched off,
thereby reducing operating time and energy consumption.

Temperature Sensing is the utilization of the Ellara's unique,
worldwide patented amorphous micro wires for temperature
measurement.
