language to various populations: Young native speakers, people
with learning disabilities, immigrants and foreigners. The
program is designed to attain an automatic articulatory (spoken)
response of the reader to the printed word. The use of voice
recognition technology for real time feedback and the visual
means (graphic and animation) throughout the program produce the
required reinforcement. The innovative method used in this
program is the result of 17 years of development (using
plastecine and flash-cards) and has been tested on hundreds of
students between the ages of 5-18 with various abilities.
Average students reached full reading ability after 10-15 hours
of practice, while dyslexic students usually required additional
5 hours.
EASYREADER EDUCATION produces Fonty, a fully featured reading
instruction system (reading lab) that leads the student through
