Overview

FibroLAN develops integrated fiber-optic broadband access systems
for the corporate and consumer markets. FibroLAN's solutions
provide organizations dispersed over metropolitan areas access to
their Intranets, as well as to the Internet, at speeds ranging
from 10 to 1000 Mbps to the branch office. In addition,
FibroLAN markets a comprehensive family of fiber-optic media
converters addressing mainly corporate LANs. Special attention is
given to medium and large networks where multiple F/O ports are
required. FibroLAN's solutions are optimized for the broad Band
Access market, targeting CLECs, ILECs and ISPs, with networks
already deployed and running. Its unique MA technology,
facilitating low-cost remote management and bandwidth
provisioning of FTTH/FTTB CPEs, is embedded in its products. Our
systems based on these technologies allow USM (Unified Subscriber
Management) of the access layer - up to 1500 Broad-Band
subscribers can be managed at a single approach and under one IP
address!!!
The products function in very high densities and support
distances up to 150km for 200Mbps rates (80km at GBE). The high
level of sophistication and optimized/ application oriented
design, provides highest functionality (as found in Cisco,
Extreme Networks etc) at a fraction of their cost.
The Company operates through a series of OEM partners and
distribution channels.

As of September 2004, more than 15 carriers have been deploying
FibroLAN solutions within their broadband access networks.
