develops cutting edge optical character recognition (OCR)
solutions by implementing the company's unique image processing
software and hardware in a wide range of security and
transportation applications.

The company 's technology is based on computer vision: the
systems read the camera images and extract the identification
data from the images. The recognition result is then logged
together with the images. This is the main advantage of vision
based recognition: the records include both the image plus the
extracted result ("Seeing is Believing").

HI-TECH SOLUTIONS specializes in Optical Character Recognition
(OCR) systems in harsh environments. The company is implementing
Neural Network Technology and unique image-processing algorithms
it developed. The company supports its products by a range of
hardware subsystems and software applications.

HTS offers an exciting range of off-the-shelf products, and is
highly responsive to customers' specific requirements:

** SeeCar License Plate Recognition (LPR) systems detect and read
vehicle license plates for parking, access control, traffic
surveillance, law enforcement and security applications. The
number plate recognition is available as a complete system which
is based on a background Windows application, Windows DLL or
Linux library, as a stand-alone turn-key version, or as different
special-task systems. Successful applications include law
enforcement, surveillance, felon searches, toll road collection,
parking facilities and site access control.

** SeeContainer Identification (CCR) systems track and read
shipping container identification marking, and transmit the ID
string to the port or gate computer, or to a client process. The
Container Code Recognition systems are available as complete
systems, such as SeeGate - a recognition system for the trucks
and containers, SeeCrane - a crane mounted Container recognition
system and SeeTrain for rail-side container recognition. The
systems include additional features for damage inspection imaging
and IMO label identification.
