present over 400,000 M.G.H. nests are in use in North America,
Europe, Australia, and Israel.
Established in 1978 by Kibbutz Givat Haim Ichud, M.G.H.
originally provided automation solutions to agriculture and
industry. Its first nesting system was developed in response to
the kibbutz's need to improve the working conditions of members
working in its turkey breeder farms. The first version went on
the market in 1979 - and many of those nests are still in use
today! The present automatic version was introduced in 1986.
Since then the company has developed a manual nest and the Flock
Management System (FMS).
M.G.H. is fortunate to have a stable and talented staff. The
company has an in-house turkey expert, a full research and
development department, as well as production, shipping,
marketing, and quality control departments. In 1994 M.G.H. was
awarded ISO 9002, the international standard for quality control,
which has been renewed every year since.
