Plastic was founded in 1960, and for four decades has led the
packaging industry in its sector, both in Israel and abroad,
where it exports some 40% of its production.
The company produces 10,000 tons of plastic a year, with a
turnover of US $12,000,000. EXTRA PLASTIC's 100 employees work in
shifts around the clock. The company utilizes the most up to date
technology in manufacturing its products, using computer
controlled, multi layered and single layered extrusion, modern
printing equipment, 6 colors at high quality and fast cutting
machines.
The factory produces products ranging from waste disposal bags to
secure courier bags. EXTRA PLASTIC's products are produced from
advanced materials using unique formulas developed by engineers
at the plants modern laboratory, with the support of the Plastics
Institute at the Technion.
EXTRA PLASTIC's engineers develop and create optimal solutions
for packaging needs, in terms of both how the package is
constructed and the composition of the materials that go into it.
The plant is ISO 9002 certified. All raw materials and processes
are subject to strict quality control and laboratory tests,
ensuring that the quality of materials meet the company's own
high standards as well as international standards.
