dedicated to the development of highly sophisticated simulation
and training systems. BVR SYSTEMS was founded in 1986 by 2
Israeli Air-Force pilots. Since the launching of its first
product, the HOTSHOT Combat Tactics Trainer, BVR has invested
heavily in R&D to broaden its expertise in air, sea and land
vehicle simulators, Air-Combat-Maneuvering-Instrumentation
(ACMI), advanced algorithms, collision avoidance systems,
advanced image and photographic processing, virtual reality
software and hardware, low cost communication and GPS, data link,
command and control and man-machine interface applications. The
result of the R&D effort is a diversified line of products.
Although BVR competes in a tough Defence industry environment, it
has positioned its know-how and products in the only niche which
is poised to grow at 10%- 15% a year - the Training and
Simulation sector.
BVR is a world leader in the development, manufacture and
marketing of advanced computer-based training systems for
military applications. The Company offers highly efficient and
cost-effective solutions for the training and debriefing needs of
modern air, naval and ground forces. The company's systems
improve operator performance while reducing training time on
actual military equipment. The systems are specifically designed
to save lives and prevent equipment loss. BVR currently produces
two major product lines, EHUDTM Debriefing, Command and Control
Systems which now include Naval and Ground systems in addition to
the extremely successful ACMI (Air Combat Maneuvering
Instrumentation) for fighter pilot training, and the company's
diversified line of Simulators. BVR has recently introduced two
new product concepts, ATASTM an Advanced Trainer Avionics Suite
and TURF providing visual imagery generation in addition to
visualization software and tools.
