ANALYTE WORKS LTD. (formerly BIOPREVENTIVE LTD.) is a
biotechnology research and development company, which is
developing a series of innovative diagnostic kits, indicating the
accumulation of Disease Specific Alarming Biomarkers (DSABM), to
provide medical decision-makers with rapid, sophisticated and
accurate point-of-care diagnostic tools for early detection of
acute life-threatening diseases.
The tests are non-invasive, inexpensive and easily administered.
The company's first family of products is designed for the
detection of coronary heart disease.

The Company's technology is based on a unique general purpose
platform for urine analysis enabling quantitative measurements of
analytes normalized to water content of urine. The platform
consists of a proprietary dry immunoassay technique and a novel
cartridge design together with an electro-optical reader. It is
unique because there is no other urine based device
(point-of-care or lab-based) that can match the dynamic range and
sensitivity in a 15 minutes of analysis. The alternatives are
either invasive, require central lab processing or provide only
qualitative readings (yes/no answers). The platform can be
adapted with a range of products based on immunoassay analysis
modified with ANALYTE WORKS' proprietary technique.

Other attributes of the system are its connectivity to computers,
compact size which can be further reduced for home diagnosis
(OTC).
