NIDARIA R&D team operates two laboratories: a molecular &
biochemistry lab for the development and testing of new products
and concepts, and a wet lab for holding and testing live
jellyfish and other marine organisms.
NIDARIA developed a Bio-Assay that closely simulates encounters
between jellyfish and swimmers. Once the in-vitro tests are
successful, similar tests are conducted on human volunteers.
NIDARIA does not test the jellyfish stinging mechanism on
animals.
