From a small family business, growing and selling cut flowers,
Danziger developed into a company of 170 employees, with
approximately 70,000 Sq. Mts of state-of-the-art greenhouses
specializing in asexual reproduction of plants.
Today Danziger produces young plants and cuttings for the local
market and for more than 60 countries all over the world.
Danziger's main products are Gypsophila, Aster, Solidago,
Limonium, Chrysanthemum, New Guinea Impatiens, Petunia,
Hypericum, Liatris, Curcuma and various types of greens.
In order to meet the demands of the dynamic floriculture market,
the company invests heavily in the breeding of new varieties,
using both conventional and genetic engineering techniques. In
addition, Danziger constantly endeavours to introduce new
cultivars in order to expand it's range of products.
No efforts are spared to ensure the quality of the plants, as
well as the clients' success.
In 1998 Danziger introduced several varieties of it's own
breeding:
* Million stars - considered to be the most promising gypsophila
variety bred in the recent years. The demand for million stars is
constantly increasing. Millions of flowers have already been sold
at the dutch auctions at double the price of perfecta flowers.
* Solidago golden line - new series of solidago which includes 3
varieties: monte solo, monte d'oro and golden gate.
* New Guinea impatiens - harmony series - the harmony series is a
result of a concentrated effort to continue to breed innovative,
improved n.g.i. varieties. These varieties have been carefully
selected to provide a wide range of colors and shapes. They are
notable for their compact growth, excellent branching, large
flowers and uniform flowering time.

harmony royal red, harmony white
* Petunia - petitunia violet dream, doubloon lilac star - belongs
to our novel type of petunia, characterized by a semi to full
double, multiflora type flower.
* Torenia - blue moon, yellow heart moon
