health. AGRON is the sole distributor in Israel of 15 producers
from USA, Europe and Japan. In addition to imported products,
proprietary products are produced and formulated locally.
AGRON is actively involved in a multitude of cutting edge
research and development projects. Among these are: development
of botanical pesticides, production of endomycorrhizal
inoculants, EU funded research on nitrogen-fixing bacteria for
non-leguminous arable crops Micro-N-fix.
AGRON has developed an outstanding organization with excellent
capabilities and reputation in product development,
registrations, sales, marketing and technical support.
AGRON has a field team consisting of highly qualified
agronomists. This team conducts the development and official
registration trials, provides guidance and technical advice to
the growers and promotes sales. Development and registration
activities are carried out in cooperation with scientific
institutes, extension service and registration authorities.
AGRON's products have been developed to meet the needs of
conventional agriculture and are also certified for use in
Bio-Organic agriculture. The products are distributed through
more than 100 sales sites located in the country's main
agricultural regions.
All of AGRON's products are nontoxic and can therefore be used,
without causing any harm to the user, in Home & Garden
applications. A special line of "small packages" products has
been developed for the Home & Garden marketplace. These products
are marketed and distributed through gardening shops, nurseries
and other retailers geared at this market.
AGRON exports some of its products, under producers licensing, to
neighboring countries in Asia (Egypt and Jordan) Europe (Cyprus
and Turkey) and to some Latin American countries.
AGRON is actively seeking business alliances with other
companies, universities and research institutes.
