URDAN supports Israel's main battle tank program, manufacturing
all its castings such as turret and hull parts, track shoes,
etc., and produces similar parts for other tanks. URDAN is fully
equipped with all the necessary facilities for manufacturing
armor castings up to 10 tonnes, including machining and
assembling.
Components such as cupolas, hatches, hubs, sprocket carriers,
idler wheels, ballistic covers, final drives, grille doors, etc.
are standard products in Urdan.
URDAN's manufacturing lines include semi-trailers, like the M860
A1 for the PATRIOT launching system, engineering systems for
armored vehicles (such as add-on bulldozer kit for M.B.T.) and
ballistic protection kits for A.P.C. / A.I.F.V.
URDAN supplies unique systems developed by the company's R&D
team, such as remote control travel locks, mine clearing roller
systems, low profile cupolas and others.
URDAN maintains an extensive quality assurance program, which
includes careful control of all manufacturing procedures, as well
as maximum use of inspection and testing, to ensure production of
high-quality products meeting the requirements of pertinent
specifications. It is qualified to ISO 9001and 9002 and complies
with MIL-I-45208 A.
