CLOVERLEAF acquired the core technology for its product from a
research and development company, ELTA, affiliated with Israel
Aircraft Industries. This technology was derived from hundreds of
man-years of development related to very-high performance, secure
communications and networking systems, proven in military and
commercial applications. CLOVERLEAF owns the rights to, and is
applying this technology to the storage networking market with a
goal of revolutionizing the management and control of storage for
enterprise-class application environments. This gives CLOVERLEAF
an advantage because the base-technology has already been proven
in defense and military deployments. Repurposing the technology
for Storage Networking reduces risk and time to market.
CLOVERLEAF recognizes that high-performance, reliability and
scalability are minimum acceptable requirements for
enterprise-class users. CLOVERLEAF's goal is Intelligent Storage
Networking (iSN), delivering leadership functionality and value
for enterprise-class end-users, service providers and system
integrators/partners.
