Overview

GREENKOTE (formerly SUMMET HI-TECH COATINGS LTD.) was established
in 1999 in Israel as part of the OCS Incubators Program with the
goal of developing first-quality, cost-effective
environmentally-friendly coatings.

GREENKOTE has developed an innovative technology -
Thermo-Chemical Surface Modification (TCSM), which improves the
surface properties of parts base-materials through diffusion
coating. TCSM is environment-friendly, suitable for automation,
and can be used on a wide variety of pure metals, metal alloys,
sintered metals, cermets and powders. Its significantly lower
cost is only one of its many important advantages over other
coating methods presently in use. Tests conducted by
international firms in the parts manufacturing field have
resulted in very positive responses to SUMMET's technology.

GREENKOTE coatings give a powerful boost to the corrosion
resistance, rubber-to-metal bonding, anti-wearing, and
anti-seizing properties of metals, rubbers and ceramics, yet they
meet or exceed all of the current environmental legislation
including the European Union's End of Vehicle Life (ELV),
Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directives.

Produced in the UK, Israel and Japan, and ISO 9001:
2000-certified, Greenkote coatings are the number-one choice of
manufacturers in the automotive, construction, aerospace, tooling
& die, firearms and domestic appliance industries worldwide.

Past and present customers include Motorola, GM and VW-supplier
MAG, the Israeli Defence Forces, Multi-Lock, and TCB, a leading
supplier of tension control bolts in the UK. Through its
association with TCB, Greenkote has also received the
accreditation of several major British heavy construction
projects including the Oval cricket ground and Heathrow Terminal
5.
