Overview

NETALIZE is developing a unique e-Learning solution (patent
pending) to improve visually Diagnostic Image
Classification skills via Internet. This solution has been tested
successfully by the end-users in a biannual international
project, where it was shown that doctors and technicians in
cancer and autoimmune imaging improved significantly their
Diagnostic Image Classification skills.

NETALIZE in collaboration with Percepton Ltd., Denmark, developed
an internet solution for standardization and education in
classifying manually encircled objects in image sets - WISECASE -
WEB Interacting Standardization in Expert Classification
Agreement by Statistical Evaluation.

WiseCase patented application makes it possible to procure a new
type of visual and statistical information about how people
globally are in agreement and disagreement with each other about
classifying the same information objects consisting of any
combinations of image areas, text, graphs, tables, etc. The
procured new information about classification knowledge consists
among things of provided statistically and visual information
about reproducibility and variability of classifications carried
out by one or more classifying persons. The patented methods
makes it thereby possible only for users of WiseCase to improve,
to compare and to certify their classification skills.

WiseCase is useful to online analyse and improve the perceptual
ability to classify information objects manually identified and
encircled in image sets. When classifying an information object
the classifier assign his opinion about the information object
onto the information object. End-users can statistically and
visually analyze to which extent they are in agreement with each
other or with a selected person or group about classifying the
same information objects identified manually by experts in
images.

Expert are networking in conferences to standardize
classification procedures and elaborate courses. Learners are
participating in courses to classify user-defined classification
objects when practising the same classification rules defined by
experts.

WiseCase is executable on a harddisk or from a perifer USB drive.
WiseCase clients can be downloaded via internet and installed for
all of the most used operation systems like Windows, Linux,
Solaris, Mac etc. on harddisks and external USB drives. When a
WiseCase client is installed on an external USB drive, the user
only needs access to an internet connection with a USB port to
run a WiseCase client.
