revolutionary Network Traffic Accelerator. The NTA is a low cost
and high performance System On a Chip, targeting customers in
need of secured network solutions. The NTA will be a perfect fit
in systems like servers, IP storage servers and clients, security
gateways, firewalls and workstations.
TEHUTI NETWORKS is the world first to develop a highly flexible
System on a Chip (SOC) that will handle both network transport
protocols and security algorithms at all layers and at 1 Gbps
rate. The NTA will completely offload the system CPU from tasks
related to IP, IPSec, TCP, UDP and others. More features may be
simply added by firmware upgrade.
Specific innovative claims for NTA include:
1. A TCP/IP protocols stack that supports complete hardware
accelerator of traffic to and from any source.
2. Programmable IP, TCP, UDP, ULP (like iSCSI, RDMA and ISAKMP)
and IPSec accelerator using advanced Network Processors: hardware
adapts to changes in network and security protocols and
algorithms.
3. A system design that optimizes utilization of system
bottlenecks: memory, CPU, and bus.
4. Firmware upgradeable for fast updates of new protocols.
5. TEHUTI NETWORKS innovative "Network Traffic Accelerator" (NTA)
is a powerful and low cost solution for all the above problems
and more. The NTA will eliminate today's tradeoff between network
traffic volume, security and system performance.
6. The integrated solution of TCP/IP and IPSec acceleration
prevents fragmentation and increase system performance.
7. Psec encryption and authentication at Gigabit rates: offers
end-to-end security communication, and secures aggregated traffic
between security gateways.
