The company was established in 2000 and is a research and
development facility in Israel of US based company.
SPECTRUM DYNAMICS developed a revolutionary nuclear medical
imaging technology that provides images with extremely high
resolutions and sensitivities. Based on a unique scanning
technology, high sensitivity solid-state detectors and
proprietary reconstruction algorithms, V-TARGET's technology
generates images capable of detecting abnormalities as small as
1-3mm with sensitivities thirty times higher than those of
conventional gamma cameras in use today. Use of SPECTRUM
DYNAMICS's unique imaging capability significantly improves
diagnostic testing and surgical guidance for a wide variety of
indications.
SPECTRUM DYNAMICS's current product platform includes CardioFlex,
a cardiac perfusion camera that significantly reduces the time
required to generate an image, and Function View, a CT add-on
high sensitivity functional imaging camera. Additionally, the
company is developing unique imaging systems that together with
tumor specific monoclonal antibodies will provide a unique
miniaturized nuclear molecular imaging solution, for early
detection of Prostate and Colon cancer.
