blade and a unique electric loop. ROEI's devices are built on an
original concept that removes tumors by approaching them from the
side and utilizing a predetermined cutting depth. ROEI's tools
are designed to replace or complement existing resectoscopic
working elements. ROEI's device will contain at least one
disposable element, competitively priced to ensure a steady
revenue stream through repeat sales.
Based on a new cutting paradigm, the Roei resectosocpe redefines
accuracy, safety, and efficacy in transurethral endoscopic
procedures.
Inspired by a visit to a local ice cream parlor, the Roei
resectosocpe uses a unique scooping motion to provide surgeons
the flexibility of approaching a tumor or tissue from a different
angle.
Roei's endoscopic devices translate the axial maneuver at the
handgrip into a rotational side-to-side, bidirectional movement
at the distal cutting edge. This unique rotational cutting motion
facilitates visualization and accurate resection of bladder
tumors as well as improved resection of prostatic adenoma, with
reduced likelihood of sphincteric damage.
Designed to replace or complement commonly-used working elements
and disposable loops, while adapting to conventional resectoscope
accessories (sheaths, optics, cables, light source and
electrosurgical generators) Roei Medical's working elements and
loops are easy to master and competitively priced.
