small quantities of Insulin and Insulin-like proteins. Yet,
infant formulas utilized to feed infants after birth do not
contain these proteins. Most infant formulas originate from
powdered cow's milk, which originally contains small quantities
of these bovine proteins, yet these proteins are destroyed and
become non-potent during the manufacturing process. Other
soy-originated infant formulas do not contain Insulin and
Insulin-like proteins at all. Currently, a significant number of
infants are deprived of their natural mother's milk shortly after
birth, and are then fed with artificial infant formulas as
substitutes for natural mother's milk.
The objective of Nutrinia is to facilitate timely
industrialization and commercialization of the supplementation of
pre-term and term infant formulas with Insulin and Insulin-like
proteins. For this purpose, Nutrinia is involved in broad
intellectual property protection, industrial processes
development, conducting additional clinical trials and obtaining
regulatory approval for the supplementation of pre-term and
infant formulas with Insulin.
InsuMeal is supplementing human food and animal feed with
important non-nutrient, health promoting proteins present in
natural foods (e.g. milk, egg, etc.) but no in industrialized
foods for humanhs and animal infants.
