BSP's patent pending HyperQ technology is based on proprietary
methods and algorithms for the acquisition of high-resolution ECG
and the analysis of high frequency components in the signal. The
company's technology enables the extraction of frequency
components in the range of 100Hz - 500Hz which are cleaned,
isolated and analyzed to produce the HyperQ signal, bearing a set
of quantitative parameters with high efficacy in detecting
ischemic heart disease, exercise induced ischemia and evolving
ischemia.
BSP's first product line includes the HyperQ Screening System, a
low-cost ergometry monitoring unit of unmatched diagnostic value,
for use in the cardiologist's clinic, as well as in the hospital.
The company's second product line, the HyperQ Clinical Monitor,
is a non-invasive ischemia monitoring device for use during and
after cardiovascular procedures.
Founded in 1999, and following extensive research by Professor
Shimon Abboud, the company's Chief Scientist, BSP targets the US
$5bn spent annually on non-invasive cardiac monitoring. In
preliminary clinical trials, BSP's non-invasive prototype system
achieved revolutionary diagnostic results offering a breakthrough
in the non-invasive screening and diagnosis of ischemic heart
disease, a leading cause of death in the developed world.
