DMATEK's technological platform is based on a unique system
architecture and operating methodology, which can be implemented
in many different commercial sectors.
DMATEK's innovative monitoring solutions are based on a modular
platform, made of an hierarchic set of smart processors, fixed
and mobile, linked through wireless short/long range
communication networks and designed to continuously gather,
analyze, act and report incoming information.
DMATEK's monitoring systems seamlessly gather real-time data from
sensors attached to a human body over extended periods of time.
DMATEK's systems comprise of:
* Personal Tag (PT) - an external, small body-worn device,
designed for use over extended periods of time. DMATEK's PTs are
equipped with data-collection units and built-in computing and RF
communication capabilities. The PT incorporates various types of
sensors, which continuously transfer data to a Local Monitoring
Unit.
* Local Monitoring Unit (LMU) - a mini control-unit which
collects, analyzes and acts on information coming from Personal
Tags. The LMU communicates with a Monitoring Center via regular
land or cellular phone lines.
* Area Monitoring Units - a smart, modular, wireless network of
data receiving units, communicating information to a monitoring
center. Enables simultaneous monitoring of groups of PTs wearers
in a set environment.
* Monitoring Center Application - advanced database servers and
monitoring software program that collect information from the
local monitoring units for further analysis and handling.
Current applications of the company's core technology are
marketed by DMATEK's subsidiaries -- Elmo-Tech, which addresses
the global law enforcement field and HomeFree Systems, which
operates in the emerging Telehomecare market. DMATEK's systems
