diagnostic software for Early Detection of Alzheimer's disease.
NEXSIG's product is a computerized, self-administered
neuropsychological test battery.
NEXSIG's technology employs the computer standard accessories as
sensors for cognitive performance changes. Adaptive algorithms
adjust both the tests administration interface and the test
performance analysis to each subject individually, based on
on-line measurement of each subject's computer interaction
patterns. The performance analysis is based on advanced pattern
recognition and classification algorithms.
Early diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) becomes imperative,
due to development of new therapies. The world is aging and the
health systems cannot accommodate the growing number of persons
who need/wish to be checked for AD.
NEXSIG solution: computerized, self-administered
neuropsychological tests, using the computer standard accessories
as sensors for changes in cognitive performance.
NEXSIG edge: Existing software requires a clinician/instructor
for explanations and comments. This reduces the uniformity of the
presentation and increases the time and costs involved.
Furthermore, in existing software the performance may depend on
tested subjects' computer experience, which reduces the desired
analysis authenticity. Adaptive algorithms adjust both the tests
administration interface and the test performance analysis to
each subject individually, based on on-line measurement of each
subject's interaction patterns. The performance analysis is based
on advanced pattern recognition and classification algorithms.
