PROJECT SUMMARY
B-BALLOON LTD. is an Israeli medical-device start up, focused on
the cardio-vascular arena. B-BALLOON's unique delivery systems
and stents allow quick and successful percutaneous interventions
for lesions at both ostial and coronary bifurcation sites.
Ostial and bifurcation lesions are considered two of the major
unresolved challenges in Percutaneus Coronary Intervention.
Ostial-lesion procedures account for approximately 5% of all
coronary interventions, and the occurrence of bifurcation-lesions
amounts to approximately 20% of all coronary lesions. In
addition, B-BALLOON's devices can also be applied in carotid,
renal and other vessel procedures, hence address almost 3 million
procedures every year.

Both ostial and coronary bifurcation lesions are associated with
complicated cardio-vascular anatomy and limited angiogram
visualization, with consequent difficulties in positioning and
stabilizing stents at the appropriated location. B-BALLOON's
technology addresses these exact difficulties.

The company's devices are based on innovative delivery systems,
including novel balloon designs improving stenting accuracy,
reducing dependency on fluoroscopic imagery, and reducing
stenting-procedure time. The company's stents offer improved
scaffolding of the treated area and assure access to treated
vessels if so required. The company's pre-clinical animal study
shows acknowledged advantages over current solutions.

B-BALLOON enjoys strong endorsement by leaders in the
interventional cardiology field such as Prof. Martin Leon, Prof.
Gad Keren and Prof. Horst Sievert.
