The Americas region offers abundant opportunities for industrial R&D cooperation to Israeli companies. Through R&D alliances, Israeli companies not only benefit from the unique strengths and skills of their partner company, but can also make the most of market opportunities unique to this vast region. Hence, the OCS has initiated the construction of a new Americas Division in Matimop, consisting of both North American and Latin American desks. Israel Shamay heads the Americas operations, Liron Eldar is managing the North American desk and Stephanie Levy the Latin American Desk (see contact details below).
Together with its partners in North and Latin America, MATIMOP implements bilateral cooperation funding schemes aiming to facilitate industrial cooperation projects. Programs partners currently include United States (Federal and States), Canada (National and Provinces), Brazil (Federal and States), Argentina and Uruguay. In addition, MATIMOP facilitates a large number of programs with partners around the world, which are open to trilateral projects with companies and research entities in the Americas region.
